GABBY ALTMIRE

Gabby is an environmental studies master's student. She studies plant-insect interactions in a montane meadow near Blue River, OR. In her free time, she loves to paint, dance, write, and watch squirrels and birds with Engels the cat.
CALEIGH BYRNE
She/Her
Caleigh Byrne is completing her final term as an environmental studies major and anthropology minor at the University of Oregon. Particularly interested in plants and restoration work, Caleigh works at Scholl’s Valley Native Plant Nursery in her off time and is looking forward to a diverse career in environmental management. Caleigh’s hobbies include hiking, swimming, camping, and spending time with her new rescue dog, Murphy.
KEVIN CHANG
He/Him
Kevin Chang is currently a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science with a focus in life sciences. His main interests include restoration ecology and resource management but is keen on all fields of environmental science. Outside of the classroom, Kevin enjoys hiking, snowboarding, working out, and playing basketball.
OLIVIA HELLER
She/Her/Hers
Olivia is a senior pursuing a degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Planning, Public Policy, and Management. She hopes to make a career out of working toward more sustainable and equitable environmental policies. In her free time, she loves to get creative in the kitchen, get outside, and craft.
FISCHER KIRK
He/Him
Fischer Kirk is a junior pursuing a degree in Environmental Science with a minor in Biology and Geography. His passion for the outdoors has led him to seek a career in natural resource conservation and management. He has greatly enjoyed field experience through the Environmental Leadership Program and is hopeful that the skills he has learned through this course will be applied to a job following graduation.
BEN MADRID
He/Him
Ben is currently a junior in Environmental Studies at University of Oregon. He has interest in one day becoming a Park Ranger. In his free time he loves to drink coffee, climb, and work on art projects.
JULIA NAUMAN
She/Hers
Julia is a senior at the University of Oregon graduating with a degree in environmental studies and anthropology. She is interested in how the environment and culture shape each other, influencing a greater story. She also enjoys time spent outdoors, talking to people, and art.
LINDSEY NGUYEN
She/They
Lindsey is currently in her last year as an environmental studies major and ethnic studies minor at the University of Oregon. She has a great interest in food justice and believes all individuals deserve equal access to food. In her free time, she loves to cuddle with animals, sit outside with her plants, and cook up new recipes!
CLAIRE WARNER
She/They
Claire is a junior majoring in environmental science and minoring in food studies. As the pollinator outreach chair for the University of Oregon, she works closely with the UO Bee Friendly Committee to create pollinator habitat on campus and educate the community about native pollinators. They also enjoy working in communications, collaborating with their teammates, and enjoying Kraft mac and cheese beside the McKenzie River.
